ABOUT HISTORY & HUMOR WALKING TOUR
The History & Humor guided walking tour is an entertaining tour of the friendly, unique, and charming small town of Burnsville, NC. It’s largely based on the memories and amusing stories of oldtimers whose families have been here since the 1700s.
We’ll visit a time when the “horse and wagon streets” were deep mud and ruts, when the only water source was a well on town square, and when even public buildings had no bathrooms. Adding to the interest, are photos of the town in the early 1900s, and old buildings no longer there.

– $10 per person paid after the tour
– Reservations at least 24 hours prior

I’m Ann. I’ve lived in VA, HI, CA, FL, and now Burnsville, NC, a Norman Rockwell kind of a friendly small town 45 minutes NE of Asheville. I’ve been an actor all my life, an instructor, a marketing and advertising pro, and a history nut. I saw a need and filled it. Simple.
